Campaign Pillars

A New Way Forward isn’t just a slogan — it’s a promise that the way Tim campaigns will reflect the way he will govern. These five pillars are more than talking points; they’re commitments to the people he hopes to serve. They reject the politics of “it is what it is” and instead embrace the belief that bold, people-centered solutions are always worth fighting for — no matter the odds.

  • I will never take donations from corporations or private special interests. Big money has stalled progress in America for decades. Accepting corporate dollars means accepting compromise — and I won’t sell out my values. My commitment is simple: restore faith in public service by making sure the people I represent know that my policies come from conviction, not corporate agendas.

  • Every single donor will receive a direct call from me — no exceptions, no matter how long it takes. The House of Representatives was designed to be the people’s chamber, the most accessible branch of the federal government. That promise has been forgotten. I’ll restore it by listening to every donor – be it $5 or $500 – because change comes from the ground up, not dictating from the top down.

  • I will never expect support without earning it. Every person is important, every voice matters, and every action makes a difference. My vision for a New Way Forward is guided by the belief that our future must be built by all of us — and leaders should listen and engage with everyone, even those who disagree.

  • I will never put party loyalty above the people I hope to serve. I am running as a Reformist Democrat, but I am more importantly a representative of Virginia’s First District. My duty is to the people — to fight for fairness, opportunity, and freedom for all families, regardless of political affiliation. That’s a promise that’s more important than following what’s politically convenient.

  • Politics is broken because it’s overly influenced by the wealthy and well-connected. Real people deserve real solutions, but they’ve been pushed to the back seat by big donors, lobbyists, and special interests. Delivering results means changing the rules: ending dark money, expanding voting rights, protecting fair representation, and holding Congress to a higher standard.

My campaign isn’t just about winning one seat; it’s about reshaping our politics so opportunity and access flow back to the people— where they belong.
